Translations and Certifications of documents
Official translations of foreign documents into Greek, and vice versa, can be carried out by professional lawyers. These translations have full legal effect, as long as they are accompanied by a certified copy of the original and as long as they have been carried out by a lawyer who has certified proficiency in languages, with a relevant deposit of his qualifications to the respective bar association (Code of Ethics for the Legal Profession, Article 36 par. c ).
